Structure
Trans-Siberian Gold plc is a UK based, AIM listed holding company for Russian incorporated entities with the purpose of exploration and mining in the Russian Federation.
Under the terms of its acquisition of ZAO Trevozhnoye Zarevo (TZ), the Company (TSG) agreed with the two minority shareholders to purchase their residual shareholdings, in aggregate 9.95% conditional upon the Company's directors formally deciding to proceed with mine development at Asacha. On 17th September 2007, TSG completed the acquisition of one of the minority shareholdings in TZ, thereby increasing its interest in the Asacha and Rodnikova projects to 95.03%. TSG and the remaining minority shareholder have agreed that TSG's purchase of its interest will be effected once TZ has received the required construction permit for dangerous objects.
Trans-Siberian Gold sold its two Krasnoyarsk subsidiaries, OOO GRK Amikan and OOO AS APK, to AngloGold Ashanti in June 2007.
